Magnititude 6.1 earthquake centered West of Trinidad and Tobago felt in Guyana

A magnitude 6.1(Richter Scale) earthquake centered 33km North of Gueiria, Venezuela occurred at 02:10:20 UTC (10.10 pm local time Guyana). The earthquake was felt in northern Guyana along the coast and according to reports as far south as Linden, and Bartica.

The quake was at a depth of 49.3 miles (79.4km) at location 10.877°N, 62.278°W
