First Lady Meets With Guyana’s Youngest Female Author

Georgetown, Guyana (August 17, 2015) – First Lady Mrs. Sandra Granger today met with eight-year old Anaya Lee Willabus, the youngest published female author of a chapter book, who presented her with a copy of her book. The meeting was held at the First Lady’s new office at State House on Main Street.

Georgetown, Guyana (August 17, 2015) – First Lady Mrs. Sandra Granger today met with eight-year old Anaya Lee Willabus, the youngest published female author of a chapter book, who presented her with a copy of her book. The meeting was held at the First Lady’s new office at State House on Main Street.

Willabus who is from the United States was born to Guyanese parents Dimple and Winston Willabus. She is currently in the country on a book tour. Her book, “The Day Mohan Found his Confidence” was officially launched in Guyana at the National Library on August 12.

She was inspired to write the book after her first trip to Guyana in April 2014.
