On Tuesday one of these outlets was formally opened on Water and Commerce Streets, next to the Muneshwer’s complex. Digicel’s Public Relations Manager, Shonnet Moore said the focus of opening the outlets was to not only celebrate their anniversary, but to showcase their improved services in making purchasing a mobile handset much more convenient.
The new features are the interactive screens which, when prompted by touch, will outline the features of various mobile phones, their prices and other useful details. There are also ‘live handsets’, mobile phones, which customers can check out as to how they work and browse the various applications on them.
Also, at this time, customers can enjoy discounts on specially selected mobile phones, ‘free talk’ and giveaways. In addition, there is the much anticipated concert on February 17 at the Guyana National Stadium with a special performance by international artiste Keri Hilson. Other artistes performing on the same stage include reggae star I-Octane, Morgan Heritage and local singing sensations Jumo Primo and Adrian Dutchin
