The Queen's College Alumni Association of Central Florida invite you, your families and friends to enjoy a weekend of fun, food, partying and golf during the Orlando Carnival Memorial Day Weekend.
This is a wonderful opportunity for fellow alumni, family and friends, to enjoy Carnival weekend in Orland and to also make a much-needed contribution to your Alma Mater by participating in the Central Florida Chapter's (QCAACF) Annual Golf Tournament.
The Annual Golf Tournament is QCAACF's signature event and is the way we have chosen to support and give back to Queens College and its students. Despite our very small membership, last year's first annual Golf Tournament was an outstanding success thanks to the participation, contributions and support of local residents and golfers many of whom were not even Guyanese.
The revenue generated allowed us to purchase laboratory stools for QC's students and to make a significant donation to the very important Special Awardees Programme which, managed by the Guyana Chapter (QCOSA), assists with food, books and other necessities for QC's neediest students.
Our membership is small but, like colleagues in South Florida, New York, Toronto London and Guyana chapters, each one of members is dedicated and committed to helping Queens College and to maintaining its traditions of excellence.
We ask for your cooperation and support and look forward to welcoming you to a wonderful, enjoyable Memorial Day weekend in Orlando. Sumptuous food and Guyanese delicacies will be provided at the Sunday Brunch by our South Florida Chapter colleagues who are giving their generous support to ensure the success of this year's Golf Tournament.
Please note that participation in the Tournament is not limited to QC alumni and is open to all golfers. We also plan to provide an instruction class for those who would like to learn to play.
