Leon Moore WBC number three ranked Super Bantamweight fights tonight in Brooklyn

Tonight (Saturday April 02, 2011) at the Aviator Sports Complex in Brooklyn, Havoc WBC number-three ranked Super Bantamweight Leon Moore will see action against veteran Felipe Almanza of Lorica, Colombia in a bout scheduled for six rounds

Moore of Georgetown, Guyana has a very impressive mark that reads 27-2 with twenty two knockouts.

Moore turned pro in 2001 and racked up seventeen consecutive victories but lost a very close split decision to future Flyweight champion Irene Pacheco of San Juan de Uraba, Colombia on September 21, 2006

Moore the two times Guyanese Bantamweight title holder and the WBC Caribbean champion won the WBC Caribbean and NABA Super Bantamweight title with a unanimous decision over former world champion Mauricio Pastrana of Monteria, Colombia.

Moore is riding a nine fight winning streak which includes a majority decision over Brelior Teran last November 6.

Almanza has a record of 18-22-4 with nine knockouts and has shared the ring with some of the top fighters in the world such as two fights with Cesar Seda; Former world champion Eric Morel; Currant World champion Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. Teon Kennedy; Abner Mares; Future world champion Tomas Rojas and his last bout he dropped a six round unanimous decision to Abraham Lopez on February 25, 2011
